INTRODUCTION

About Gemilang

Gemilang Maintenance Services Sdn Bhd (Gemilang) was incorporated on 20th August 1996 to undertake the award of the Privatisation of Building Maintenance Support Services for Federal Government Buildings in Perak, Pulau Pinang, Kedah, Perlis, Sabah and Labuan for a period of 10 years + 5 years effective March 2001. We initially started as a comprehensive single source provider for government solutions. Since then, we have been involved in other facilities namely shopping complexes and institutions.

 Main activity of the Company is the Provision of Facility Management Services covering the entire or portion upkeep of a building. Our solutions span across products, services, applications, processes and we strive to cover the entire maintenance needs of our focus markets.

Gemilang operates and maintain the services through “In-House Team” or through licensed contract specialist as per specific requirement by Client or government statutory bodies. We obtained the ISO 9001: 2001 in July 2004, ISO 9001: 2008 in February 2010 and ISO 9001:2015 in September 2018.

Scheduled Maintenance

Regular Inspection on facilities to follow good maintenance practice that will ensure optimum equipment usage, system efficiency and lower cost.

Complaint Management

We provide responsive service round the clock with expertise and technology thus ensuring minimum interruption on daily routine.

Upgrading & Renovating

Consult & manage upgrading works within the premise. We help clients to design & build facilities that provide maximum productivity and efficiency.

Additional Income Opportunities

Working closely with owners in communicating & identifying additional income opportunities through space usage such as advertising and site rental.

Scope of Maintenance

Gemilang facilities management covers all aspects of a building or facility’s operation and maintenance throughout its lifecycle. Our advice, technical and management support to building owners and operators are flexible and moulded to their evolving needs.

PRO ACTIVE MAINTENANCE

Involves usage of specialised works and equipments to identify, repair and solve equipment problems at early stage.

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

Involves maintenance works performed on time schedule which includes inspections, servicing and cleaning.

PREDICTIVE MAINTENANCE

Involves early detection of existing conditions and possible happenings before equipment break down.

CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE

Involves identifying issues and report for repair works due to equipment or machinery breakdown.
